Kids Gym | The gym area will include large
trampolines, rock climbing, zip sliders, a toddler area, an
imagination station, and a calming room.
Teen Room | This will be a room just for teens to
hang out, play games, and socialize.
Therapy Hub | Local vendors can rent space and
utilize gym resources during therapy.
Comfortable | We’re building a community. Grab some
fancy coffee, relax, and watch your kiddos play. This is a place you
don’t have to apologize or explain. There will even be a room for
parents who have kids in therapy to catch a nap or just breathe for
a moment.
Events | We will have two large party rooms and a
multi-purpose room. Throw a birthday party or even host a full-scale
event. In the future, we’d love to offer events like Friendsgiving,
teen nights, Iowa football game days, and camps.
All kids are welcome. Fun will be had by ALL!
What Age Ranges Do You Serve?
Think of this question in terms of developmental age. If your
child is ten years old and wants to play in the toddler area because
developmentally, they are two, that is totally okay. The only
caution we have is when it comes to actual gym equipment. If the
equipment is toddler size, please move to a weight/height
appropriate option.
Meet The Louison’s | We are a family of seven with
two neurodivergent kiddos. We want the best for our kids and our
community. We’ve found progress in both confidence and mental and
physical agility in purposeful exploratory play. Much like other
families facing the same challenges, over the years, we had to
rebuild our tribe, search and fight for answers, and many times felt
lost and alone along the way. Our hope is we can provide an
environment that you and your family feel heard, understood, and can
even pick up some tips and tricks to help your journey be less
bumpy.

Play With A Purpose is exercising and stimulating any of the seven senses through positive physical, emotional, and social development. These senses include sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch, the vestibular system, and proprioception. Our specially designed, sensory-safe equipment and the classes that we offer all encourage these!
